Rohan came home with a new game he learned at daycare, Hide & Seek! So he comes up to me sitting on the sofa this evening and says "Mommy, you count! Count!" So, of course, I start counting.
1...2...3...
Rohan runs around the sofa laughing madly.
I say "Ready or not, here I come!" , I turn my head slightly, and there is Rohan standing right behind me!
i say 'I found you!" He shrieks, laughes and and comes back around the sofa grinning.
"Mommy, again, you count!" I say ok, start counting and again he runs around and stands directly behind me.
Again I say I found him again he screams and laughes. And again... and again...
Michael is watching baffled.
Finally I say 'Ok, Rohan, mommy will count again, but you have to hide in a new place. Ok? Go someplace different, NOT behind mommy.' Rohan says 'Ok mommy!"
I count, turn around and there he is behind me again.
Obviously, Ro is the absolute worst Hide & Seek player in the world! It's pretty amazing! :D
The thought that really floored me, was thinking of them trying to play this game with 9 toddlers just like Rohan at daycare... how bizarre would that be?
