I can't believe I almost missed singing happy birthday to Rohan this morning!
Michael and I sing Happy Birthday to him almost every single morning when he wakes up, because he likes it and it makes him smile. But this morning, I was feeling queasy and my stomach hurt so I slept in and Michael quietly got him ready for daycare and let me sleep.
I told mom after Rohan left this morning that I was sad because I missed singing him happy birthday.
About 2 minutes later, Michael calls me on route to daycare (because mom called and told him!). So together we sang to Rohan on the speaker phone!
Rohan know more than I thought about birthdays this year! On his Blue's Clues DVD they celebrated Joe's b-day and we know how intently Rohan studies that show. hehe
When I say 'happy birthday!', he now says 'Cake! 1,2,3...' then he purses his lips together and blows!! Actually he kinda spits a bit and blows but he does it!
