Wow! Rohan listens when I read to him, finally. Hooray!
He loves when I read 'Hand, hand, finger, thumb' although he never seemed interested in (reading) books before.
He's always liked the book because its fairly small and carboard but last week, I noticed that instead of just generally throwing it around, he was trying to open the pages and carefully studying the illustrations of all the monkeys playing drums.
Now when I read it, he still likes to touch the book, but gets excited with the reading outloud and watches me (and the book) avidly.
He even laughs and tries to put his finger in my mouth while I'm talking.
