We're having a little boy!

Just went to my doctor on friday (16wks3days) and found on that our first born child is going to be a boy!!

Honestly, I'm not at all surprised. I've been feeling that its going to be a boy for over a month...
I don't know why really...

All my friends who are pregnant (4 friends, can you believe it?) are having girls but somehow I suspected that I was going to get a little boy.

It was so funny! I had 2 ultrasounds because, in the first one, the baby was meditating, legs folded indian style, as usual, and wouldn't show us anything.

Honestly, I can't believe that he is going to be an aries, he is sooo calm and peaceful, gently floating there, barely moving. Our little buddha...

We were so disappointed he wouldn't move; he is such a calm little fellow.

So the doctor told me to go do my bloodwork, drink some orange juice and we can try it again before we go. But the nurse knew better, handed me a fist full of chocolate kisses and said 'try this, this will do it!'.
Apparently the sugar rush that really gets the baby moving! Anyway, when we tried again, the tech was rough and pushed so hard that I'm still sore 2 days later! But at last, we saw him!

She said ' See that? That's a leg, that's a leg, and that's not a leg." hehehe

My friend Katie at work, asked 'So is it the hotdog or the bun?'
It was definitely a little hotdog.

It funny, in my mind, I felt I could handle a girl but a little boy... I thought I wouldn't know what to do with him.

However, when driving home from the doctor's, we were both wrapping our minds around the idea of raising a boy, I suddenly thought of when I was a kid.

I don't remember my sister too well from when she was a baby, she is only one year younger but I DO remember my brother when he was young. And he was such a cutie!!

He smiled all the time, and was so active, sweet but naughty too. He followed my mom around everywhere!

I remember how he loved magic and he would do this magic trick where he would drag a big box in front of us and drop a stuffed animal into it.
He would say the magic words but... before he would open the box, he would look around in (fake) suprise and say 'Oh oh! I have to go to the bathroom.'
He would then drag the big box behind him into the bathroom, while we would laugh quietly to ourselves.
It was so adorable!

Then he would come out and open the box and show how the stuffed bear had disappeared!! And we would all clap for him. He would be so proud.
It was just the cutest thing!

I think having a boy is going to be the greatest thing!
